Charles Thompson
Sales Manager

Charles comes to Post Time Productions with over eight years experience in sales and broadcast media.  He began his career at WKYT-TV (a CBS affiliate in Lexington, KY.)  He was a sports photojournalist, reporter, editor and producer.  He won several awards from the Associated Press and was nominated three times for an Emmy.  He also produced Sports Spectrum and was the producer, director, editor and camera operator for “Behind the Blue.” 

Upon leaving WKYT-TV in 2006, Charles began a sales career at Clear Channel Radio.   He worked with clients all over the state of Kentucky to help them with market their businesses using local radio.  At Clear Channel Charles participated in the writing of commercials, planning marketing campaigns and working on live remote broadcasts. 

With his success at Clear Channel, Charles made the move to Post Time Productions as its new Sales Manager in 2009.  With his experience in broadcast television and sales, he proved to be the perfect fit.  He brings a great attitude and excitement to the company.  He’s willing to go the extra mile to help a client’s project be successful. 

Charles grew up in Richmond, Kentucky and went to high school at Madison Central.  He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.  When Charles isn’t working he spends his free time going to live sporting events, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
